Pumpkin Time

This is my entry for Deedee's Digi Challenge and Addicted to Stamps. I used the cute pre-colored digi of the Pumpkin Patch Digi and backed the image with red and black poka dot paper. The background is from a web find. I outlined the pumpkins with a clear sparkle gel pen, die cut the leaves and acorn and added them next to the sentiment. I used orange ribbon at the top which I knotted.

Fall has arrived in the mountains of  Virginia. Some of the leaves have started to turn already.  I love this time of year! Sweatshirt weather.  It rained here for 10 days! I was glad to see the sun on Monday. I love to bake when it rains, especially if there is a chill in the air or when it snows. So I am glad it stopped raining. And so are our waistlines!  I made 3 batches of cookies and a cake. That's going to be it for awhile I think.

I also started on my Christmas cards to send to Send A Smile 4 Kids. I had made some fall and Halloween cards and sent them in late September.  Here are a few that I mailed to them.

Diane

I used a digital image from Pinterset and made faux snow by rubbing 2 styrofoam balls together to get the snow "dust".  I applied them with glue to the snowballs and snow on the ground.
For this card I made the card using a Drop- in die from the Stamps of Life  http://www.thestampsoflife.com/shop/Drop-ins-Flowers-Sentiments-Scalloped-Edge.html
and the Stockings 4 Christmas die set.Stockings 4 Christmas.
I cut the stocking from foil card stock and trimmed it with faux fur. The greeting is from the Stockings 4 Christmas set as well.   I added the bells to the hemp cord from Lawn Fawn and tied it to the card front.
